I found my way into music as a guitarist playing in various New York bands but then switched to drums after seeing the Police perform in the late 1970s. Since then I’ve performed and recorded with reggae outfit The Mighty Charge, world music ensemble Friend Planet, and now with the Underwater Airport crew. I have scored films for the National Science Foundation, composed video games for Massachusetts General Hospital, and now coach music careerists and entrepreneurs at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
After working as a booking agent, label director, music editor, artist manager and producer, I began writing music business career guides.
If you need career or business advising, planning and development let me know. I may be able to help. I also speak at music events, participate on panels and offer workshops on music career development.
